October 7th, 2016 -- At a cocktail ceremony held at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort, last Friday September 30, 2016, over 100 guests including officials from Government, Chamber, Financial Institutions, the Media and other members of the Business and Civil Society joined the Massy United Insurance team to celebrate the official lunch of the St. Kitts-Nevis Branch.
The launch ceremony was chaired by the local Branch Manager, Ms. Tuffida Stewart, who in her opening remarks expressed gratitude to the attendees for celebrating this momentous occasion with the Company. The launch was blessed by Father George Agger from the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
President of the St. Kitts-Nevis Chamber of Industry and Commerce, Mr. Jose Rosa, welcomed Massy United Insurance to the Chamber, the Business Community and the beautiful islands of St. Kitts and Nevis. “Many personal and business decisions could not be taken without insurance companies”, said President Rosa. “With the changes and growing of the diverse St. Kitts and Nevis Economy, the private sector welcomes another company that offers additional alternatives to protect our assets, business transactions and personal life. A number of lucky attendees won door prizes and a special gift was presented to the first indigenous customer, Mr. I. Hudson Carr.
