One killed in mid-morning shooting in Cayon

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts- POLICE are investigating a shooting incident in Cayon that resulted in the death of a young man this morning (Nov. 7).

     

    Information surrounding the incident is sketchy at this time, but reports reaching SKNVibes state that it occurred sometime after 10:00 a.m. in the vicinity of St. Mary’s Park in Cayon.
     
    The victim’s name was given as 22-year-old Jamari Sutton of Cayon and that he was shot multiple times, including a bullet or bullets to the head. He reportedly died at the scene.
     
    Today’s shooting-death has taken to 28 the number of homicides committed in the Federation for the year.
