BASSETERRE, St. Kitts & Nevis (December 1st, 2016) – “Feel the Riddim, Positive Vibes for Sugar Mas 45”… As we enter another Christmas and Carnival season, FLOW the Federation’s only full service telecommunications provider renews its decades long partnership with Carnival, the largest and most festive cultural celebration in St. Kitts and Nevis.
In continuing its unwavering support to our National Carnival, FLOW has made an investment of over $75,000 in cash and kind to this year’s Sugar Mas 45.
In presenting the company’s sponsorship cheque to Mr. Noah Mills the National Carnival Committee Chairman, FLOW’s Marketing and Corporate Communications Manager, Mr. Kevin Edwards said, “FLOW is proud to continue our longstanding tradition of giving back to the Federation during this our most festive time of year. Christmas and Carnival is a most unique pairing that we in the Federation have always enjoyed and FLOW has always seen it as our civic responsibility to assist in making this National Carnival celebration possible”.
Mr. Edwards continued, “Our sponsorship of Sugar Mas 45 extends way beyond our involvement with the Carnival Committee. Most notably the numerous other activities that line the calendar of events for Sugar Mas 45, which include both the Proud Sounds and Legends Calypso Tents, Folklore and J'ouvert troupes, Talented Teen Competition,
Carnival Day Parade and of course the Inception Fete are all part of the umbrella of events supported by FLOW whether in cash or in-kind”.
The annual Sugar Mas Celebration has become a display and celebration of our unique culture, which is critically important to the preservation of our history and our heritage, and FLOW is not only proud but most certainly dedicated to continuing the tradition of supporting our National Festivals and all of the cultural aspects that they entail.
