Reports reaching this publication stated that the men were apprehended sometime on Sunday (Dec. 4), and this was confirmed yesterday afternoon (Dec. 5) by Superintendent Cromwell Henry.

SKNVibes learned that the men are still in custody but has not been charged with the offence as investigations are ongoing.

At about 10:45 p.m. on Saturday (Dec. 3), McSheen, also known as Jamal Benjamin, was shot multiple times while in his vehicle in the vicinity of Hummingbird Circle in Bird Rock.

The 33-year-old, who was originally from Cayon but was residing in Bird Rock at the time of his demise, had reportedly died at the scene.

Reports also stated that he was seen at a football match at Warner Park shortly before the incident occurred.

In a press release, police stated that initial investigations revealed that McSheen was shot by an unknown assailant and that investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit and the Criminal Investigations Department, as well as technicians from the Forensic Services Unit had canvassed the scene for items of evidential value.

Jamal McSheen’s death has taken to 30, the number of homicides committed in St. Kitts and Nevis for the year.
