Police Press Release 15-12-2016: Report of arrests, convictions and other activities

    Basseterre, St. Kitts, December,15 2016, (RSCNPF):  Below is a report of Arrests, Convictions and other activities recorded by the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force for the period December 14th 2016. 

     

    ARREST AND BAIL: 
    Arrested: Viscount Emekoba, of Lime Kiln, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned on an for the offence of Battery committed on December 12, 2016 in Lime Kiln, Basseterre.  
     
    Arrested: Randy Warner an adult of Dieppe Bay, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Battery on Police, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing him while in the Execution of his duty. 
     
    Arrested: Adam Sam of Gingerland, was arrested, formally charged and cautioned for the offences of Larceny and Receiving. 
     
    Bailed:  Xavier Dore of Upper Shaw Avenue who was charged for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply and Cultivation of Cannabis was granted bail in the sum of $5000.00 with two (2) sureties for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on 9th January, 2017.  
     
    Bailed: Dashawn Liburd of Hamilton who was arrested and charged for the offence of House Breaking and Larceny was granted bail  in the sum of $5000,00  with two (2) sureties for his appearance at the Charlestown Magistrate Court at on 10th January 2017.
     
    Bailed: Rasheem Crossley of Fort Thomas Road who was charged for Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply and Cultivation of Cannabis was granted bail in the sum of $5000.00 with two (2) sureties for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday 9th January, 2017.  
     
    Bailed: Diquan Maloney of Upper Shaw Avenue who was charged for Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply and Cultivation of Cannabis was granted bail in the sum of $5000.00 with two (2) sureties for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on  Monday 9th January, 2017.  
     
    Bailed: Lewis Powell of Upper Shaw Avenue who was charged for Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply and Cultivation was granted bail in the sum of $5000.00 with two (2) sureties for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on Monday 9th January, 2017.
     
    Bailed: Kamal Liburd of New Road who was charged for Possession of Cannabis, Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply and Cultivation of Cannabis was granted bail in the sum of $5000.00 with two (2) sureties for his appearance at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on  Monday 9th January, 2017.  
     
    OTHER ACTIVITY:
    Building Breaking and Larceny:  Police responded to a report of Building Breaking and Larceny at the Taurus Bar and Grill on College Street. The scene was processed by the Crime Scene Unit, investigation will continue.  
     
    Burglary: Police responded to a report of Burglary at a residence on Mad House Alley.  A number of personal items were taken,  the scene was processed and the investigation will continue. 
     
    Traffic Accidents: There were two (2) accidents on the federation’s roadways in St. Kitts during the period of this report 
     
    Citizen Safety: Police has increased presence in the around Basseterre and other areas of high shopping traffic as the Christmas shopping season begins.  
     
    Police continues to conduct stop and searches, vehicular check points, searches of ferry terminals and marinas and mobile patrols around the Federation.  These are being done in efforts to remove illegal firearms, ammunition, illegal drugs and instruments that can be used to commit crimes from our communities.
