Little Miss Attitude, a newcomer to the art form, was fourth with 735 points, beating Queenie G into fifth place by one point; while Hollywood with 730 and Lady Diva occupied the sixth and seventh positions.

Former Culturama Kaiso King and Second Runner-up in last year’s competition at this level, I-Soursop gained 719 points was named the alternate.

The other calypsonians who participated in the Semi-Finals but did not make the cur are Daddy Nature, Lord Kut, Lucious, Godfrey, Queen Kibi, Mighty J, King Irvin, Jungle Lion, Lady B and Princess P.

The two alternates for the Semi-Finals were Dwighty and Diamond Ace.

The seven finalists will be meeting with the defending Monarch, Oscar ‘King Astro’ Browne, at the Finals slated for Thursday (Dec. 29) at the Sugar Mill.
