Another Sandy Point shooting, another young man wounded

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – ANOTHER young man was injured last night (Jan. 4) during a shooting incident which took place in Sandy Point.

     

    Details are sketchy; however, Commander of District ‘B’ Superintendent Travis Rogers confirmed that the incident did take place.

     

    He informed that it was sometime between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. in the Crab Hill area.

     

    SKNVibes understands that the victim is Carlisle Liddie of Sandy Point and the incident took place while he was either in or hear his home.

     

    He was shot in the abdomen and when law enforcement personnel arrived on the scene, they transported him to the Pogson Hospital and he was subsequently transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital via the Emergency Medical Services.

     

    Investigations are being made by the Violent Crimes Unit.

     

    Meanwhile, Abkim Bryan alias Nigel Phillip who was wanted by the police as a suspect in yesterday’s shooting of a bread bus driver, has been taken into police custody.

     

    Superintendent Rogers told SKNVibes that he was apprehended yesterday afternoon during one of a number of operations which his officers were conducting.

     

    Investigations are ongoing.
