BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THREE individuals are in police custody assisting with investigations into the Federation’s second murder for the year.
Venezuelan national Luis Garcia – 39 – was on East Street, Newtown on Wednesday morning (Feb. 1) when he was shot. He succumbed to his injuries while he was on the scene.
The incident occurred shortly after 11:00 a.m.
Officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force visited the scene and were combing through the area, gathering evidence as part of their preliminary investigations.
SKNVibes understands that sometime after the incident occurred, three individuals – two adults and one juvenile - were taken into police custody.
Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
