Cash register, laptop, watches stolen from Port Zante stores

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – BREAK-INS continue to be a major concern within the Federation with some of the latest victims being the owners and operators of two entities located at Port Zante.

     

    SKNVibes understands that sometime between Friday (Feb. 3) evening and Saturday morning, Blue Waters and Taiwan Tasty were broken into and a number of items pilfered.

     

    Superintendent Cromwell Henry, Head of the A District, told SKNVibes that the operators of both entities secured the premises on Friday evening when those for Taiwan Tasty retuned on Saturday morning, they discovered that the place was broken into and an iPad, laptop, karaoke machine and a sum of cash were missing.

     

    And in the case of Blue Water, when they operators returned, they discovered that clothing, watches and the cash register had been stolen.

     

    The Superintendent said the Police Force’s Criminal Investigations Department is making investigations into the incidents and any assistance the public can render in this regard would be appreciated.

     

    “The Police is seeking the assistance of the public in these investigations to provide any information that they may have, including if they see persons selling electronic equipment or if persons approach them to sell electronic equipment. If you observe any such activity, please inform the police. You can call CID at 4652241 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-8477(TIPS).”
