BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – TWO of the three individuals held by Police in connection with the Newtown murder which occurred last week, have been released.
The two men and the juvenile were taken into custody sometime after the shooting death of 39-year-old Venezuelan national Luis Garcia. That incident took place on East Street, Newtown on Wednesday (Feb. 1) morning.
As part of their investigations, the authorities arrested the trio but SKNVibes understands that the adults have since been released.
The juvenile however, while released in relation to that particular investigation, was detained in the Police’s custody concerning another matter.
SKNVibes understands that the youngster may have breached his bail conditions for the other matter.
With no charges laid in the case of Garcia’s death, the authorities are continuing their investigations.
