GIS, 6 February 2017 - A record number of 497 students of the Elmore Stoutt High School received awards for achieving a B average or above in their studies on Thursday, February 3.
Pictured are Permanent Secretary in the Premier’s Office, Mr. Brodrick Penn and Acting Chief Education Officer, Mrs. Connie George awarding students with their certificates. Also pictured is Principal, Mrs. Sandy Underhill addressing students and parents who attended the awards assembly which is held annually.
The number of students represents more than a third of the school’s enrollment, which stood at 1313 during the 2015-2016 Academic School Year.
