Charismatic, confident and charming are just a few words to describe 17-year-old Aprile Gumbs. A proud graduate of the Albena Lake Hodge Comprehensive School, Aprile is currently pursuing a diploma from Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examination Board (CAPE). Because education is viewed as important to Aprile, she has chosen the noble profession of Teaching as her life’s ambition.

In her spare time Aprile enjoys a host of activities including singing, dancing and modeling. Aprile is a member of the Panache Couture Model Team, headed by a young aspiring Anguillian Fashion Designer-Charla Connor. Aprile is no stranger to the stage and always manages to captivate audiences with her dynamic stage presence.

Aprile has captured various titles in Miss Road Primary School 2000, Miss Valentine 2005 claiming victory in all segments and Miss CCB Talented Teen 2007 winning the Promotional Speech and Evening Wear segments.

Aprile is thankful for her pageant experiences thus far as they have afforded her the opportunity to mature into a well-rounded individual. For this reason, she is pleased to join in your celebration of talent, education and culture.
