Article: no interest payment for government-bond holders…yet!

Comment: When ever I listen to the Prime Minister or read about anything that he says, I am reminded of two songs one by Small Axe “People Who Lie And Try To Pull The Wool Over Your Eye”, just to paraphrase. There is also a song by The Doobie Brothers “What a Fool believes”. The Prime Minister thinks that the citizens of the Federation were born behind their mothers’ back and on All Fools’ Day.

Article: what would you look for in a good school? (new photos)

Comment: Firstly, I would look for a clean environment, good nutrition because you cannot educate a malnourished child. Also imperative is having dedicated and highly skilled teachers and the school should be technologically equipped to meet the every changing technological world. The students should be well manned, have respect, and act in a responsible manner. The parents must take an active role in the school also.

Article: entertainment and sports a perfect mix says sknfa president

Comment: The marriage of sports and other forms of entertainments will not only escalate the level of enjoyment of the sporting event, but it can also act as a source of revenue for some of the artists in the Federation. A few weeks ago the basketball association fused performances by local artists such as Masud Sadiki into some games. This type of forward and out of the box thinking can mushroom into a windfall for sports teams, local artists, and local venders.

Comment: I thank God for where he has brought me from; from growing up in abject poverty in Middle Island, St. Kitts. A lot has changed for me over the years with hard work and sacrifices; while I am not rich I am still appreciative for where I am at in life. My shopping list will consists of giving away four $50 food baskets, a donation to the Police Boys Club, some fans for the New Town Primary School, and gifts to family members.
