The International Center for Journalists (ICFJ), in partnership with CONNECTAS, is conducting a call for applications for journalists from select Latin American and Caribbean countries interested in receiving mentorship and up to $3,000 to complete their investigation.
The initiative seeks to encourage and strengthen the quality and independence of journalism in the region, offering support to high-impact investigative journalism.

Candidates must have three years of experience.
Candidates must send a detailed reporting proposal, including the three main revelations that will come out of their projects and its social relevance.
Selected journalists will receive mentorship and US$3,000 to complete the investigation in five months
The deadline to apply is Aug. 11.

In accordance with the geographic scope of their grant, ICFJ has limited eligibility to journalists from the following countries: Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Venezuela, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Jamaica, Bahamas, Saint Lucia, Saint Kitts and Nevis, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname or Trinidad and Tobago.
