We regret to announce the passing of Mary Henrietta Pondt better known as Henny Pondt of Yearwood Street, Cayon. St Kitts at the age of 90.
Relatives of the late Henrietta Pondt includes:
Nine children: Charlie, Winston, Chesley (deceased), Oreatha, Paulette, Alphonso, Lanot, Lloyd and Jacklyn Pondt.
Adopted are: Shawn Wigley, Mario Rusty Wigley and Yvette Mulraine also known of Barbara of Cayon.
Seven brothers and sisters: Sarah, also known as Selena, Conrod (deceased), Ismay, also known Yaryee, William (deceased), Raymond, Isa, and Leroy Pondt
30 Grandchildren, including: Eustace, Dennis, Trevor, Desiree, Rochelle, Charlese, Rawle, Cecile, Maureen, Kennedy, Dave (Tau), Jervin (Fidel), Curtis, Raul, Omari, Cassandra, Alvitta, Yolanda, Tinetta, Irie, Daya, Vanessa (Toya), Diana, Cashima, Alphonso (Frankey), Gareth, Tony, Deshawn (deceased), and Desiree.
She also leaves 39 Great grandchildren.
Other mourners include: her son in law Sylvester Bertie, her daughters in law, Dawn Pondt, Janice Jarvis, and Marilyn Pond. Eva Mitcham of Upper Cayon, The Bass/David family, the Millard family, the Liburd family and many nieces and nephews. Also Mary Emmanuel and family of Spooners village, The Willet, Gaskin and William/McDowell family of Yearwood Street.
Caretakers: Ms Idella James in New York and Ms Ivanka James of Upper Cayon.
A memorial service will be held at the Mount Carmel Pentecostal Church, Bronx NY, on Friday February 23rd. Viewing at 5pm and service at 7pm.
Funeral Service will take place at the Bethesda Moravian Church in Cayon St Kitts on Friday March 2nd.
Viewing at 2pm and service commences at 3pm.
Interment at St. Mary’s cemetery in Cayon.
