I can't beleive that your gone so soon. Its sad to see that so many of the nations young men are being killed so voilently. I grow up with Shawn and he was a good guy, never seek trouble. He loved the basketball court and made many of us from the Trinity community proud. God doesnt sleep or slumber, he sees and knows all. My dear friend your at a better place now ,look over your family especially your grandma,your mom and the beautiful daughter you left behind, be her guardian angel and let her always feel your presents so she could always have that feeling of being safe and love by you. When I heard the news it was sad u no words cant describe the feeling even if u was jus injured, but God is in the midst.. Well I am usually not into posting these stuff during sad moments but i must say that x-man was a true brother. He often called me "B" even when he knows he was talking to mellie. When i first started playing basketball he played me a 1 vs 1 and beat me sick. I told him it was because he was taller than me (man was i really short then). He told me to come back when i was taller. Strange enough now, I am taller (not that i have grown much) but can't claim my victory. Well my boy, it is sad that you had to go but i have always said that we just need to leave it up to God. He knows best. Til' we meet again.

Ruperta,Shawna,Shameka,Shirlon: My heart goes out to you guys and the rest of the "Dias" family - the whole Trinity community has lost one of our own - we are a quiet community and the people who grew up in the area is one big family - so, it hurts all of us!!! We will all miss Shawn "Shabba" dearly!!! I pray for you guys and hope that with God's help you will pull through this sad moment. Sometimes we do question God and asks "Why?" Shawn we were not close but i always admire u for ur quietness. We both went to Basseterre Junior High School together but we was in different grades. In times like these we are the Lord Why...Why should Shawn had to die like this and most importantly Why HIM? Shawn my long time school-mate, Fellow Village and FRIEND...your passing has so many unanswered Questions...I dont even no what to say I am so lost for words...A Young Gentleman like you, never got your self in trouble, always there for many, always willing to lend a hand to what ever and whom ever. Shawn, I can still remember that Saturday afternoon when you brought your princess for me to see. She is such a beauty.. And It's hard to know she wouldnt no the type of father she had...You lived for your daughter, you died for your daughter. I will forever remember your Basketball days when me and the rest Boyd's Massive used to go to Basketball City or on our Basketball Court to see you hit those 3 pointers or just to see Rasbo, Bukra and yourself make the Village of Boyds proud. You were a Golden Boys Star and for that you were certainly GOLDEN in our eyes that is why they Village mourns greatly with the Dias family. Our small Villages (Boyd's/West Farm & Palmetto Point) are very small but we are certainly large enuf to care (WE ARE FAMILY)..For this I am proud to have grown up around you and for this I will be ETERNALLY GREATFUL....
