Mr hunkins was one of those teachers that never gave up on me when i was always in trouble. He had an art for see the better from within everyone. I am deeply greeved that such a man has left gods earth so early. however in his time on earth i know he did a lot for many a youth in st kitts an where ever he went. R.I.P my condolences goes out to his family.

I was quite shocked when I browsed through the obituaries and saw that Hillery had passed on. I wondered if I was seeing correctly. Anyway, to all of Hillery's family and friends, I extend sincerest condolences. I am sure that he has secured his place in heaven so cheer up and be thankful for the time that God loaned him to us here on earth. Indeed earth has lost one of the beautiful stones which God has placed here temporarily. I am now convinced that the good dies young.

R.I.P Mr. Hunkins.... you had taught me when I was going to school at Dr. william connor and when I went to high school I had never turn around and said hi to any of my old teacher. I had moved to Orlando while I was attending high school and never know that you was living here in Orlando. I was surprised more so shocked when I heard it was you whom had past, because I taught my friends where just trying to pull my leg. But you will never be forgotten.

Mr. Hunkins, I had the opportunity in working closely with you in Old Road with the Boys' Brigade. You were a great asset to the old Road community and up bringing of the youths. Rest on my friend. You would be miss but I know you would be smiling down at us until we meet again. Rest in Peace....

I write in disbelief that you are gone Hillery and that I'll never hear you say, 'Queenie' again. I spoke to you just the other day when I was home and now I'm saying my final goodbyes. A mentor,a friend, a brother, a confidant - you were all this and more to me. I wish my son could have met you so you could play the role you so graciously played in my brother's life. I once worked at the Dr William Connor Primary with Hillery and he was always there when i was down and something was bothering me. He was a father figure in my book to may students and also to myself. To his family my sympathy and Hillery may your soul rest in eternal peace
