Death Announcement of Mrs. Josephine France

 

Regrettably, we announce the death of Mrs. Josephine France of Mt. Lily Village.

 

 She died at the age of 100 years.

 

The sad event occurred on Sunday July 11th 2010  

 

The deceased is survived by:     

 

Six (6) Children:      Beatrice Huggins, Lucena Thompson, Cephas  and Oakley ‘Jesse’ France in the UK, Auldaine ‘Fox’ France in St. Kitts and Sorita France at home.

 

Adopted Children: Rudolph Jones and Maudestine Hanley.

 

Twenty seven (27) Grandchildren: Earl, Charlie, Andrew, Ava, Mark, Johnny, Dawn, Adrian, Glen, Keith, Jeff, Clive, Stephen, Jason, Anthony, Vanessa, Leon and Darren all in the UK. Vylena, Tameisha, Sarita and Tessa in the US, Hugh in Tortola, Lavern in St. Kitts, Jaslyn, Ernie and Thouvia at home.

 

Fifty three (53) Great grand children.

 

Eleven (11) great great grand children.

 

Three (3) Sisters: Albertha Timber and Mary Busby in St. Eustatius and Ellen Daniel at home.

 

Twenty nine (29) Nieces and Nephews including: Anita Maynard in California, Clarence Glasgow in St. Kitts and Pastor Eric Maynard at home.

 

One (1) Daughter in law: Maureen France in the UK

 

Two (2) Sons in Law: Bernard Thompson and Charles Huggins in the UK

 

A very special friend: Agatha Huggins

 

Other special friends including: Sheila, Jacqueline and Finella France, Janet Herbert, Althea Jones, Alice Jeffers, Pastor Agnola Martin, Venetta McTavius, Violet Jeffers, Venetta Huggins, Verna Carbon, Cordelia Hanley, The Tyrells, Winifred Herbert, Bernadine Browne, Dr. Judy Nisbett and their families.

 

Many other relatives and friends including: the Pastor and Members of the New Testament Churches of God on Nevis, Pastor A. L Heyligar, Alistene Sutton, Rachel and Gurtice Neale, Viola Pole, Winifred Belle, Maisie Browne, Dahlia Maynard, Pastor and Mrs Cumberbatch, Tim Wilkerson, the Jeffers, France and Maynard families.

 

Godchildren: Balvin Jones, Percival Nisbett, Cynthia Hodge and Arlene Stanford.

 

The funeral service of the late Josephine France will take place at the Jessups New Testament Church of God on Saturday 17th July at 2:30pm. Viewing will be from 1:30 – 2:25pm.

 

The body will be also be viewed at the Fountain New Testament Church of God from 12noon to 1:00pm

 

The late Josephine France was a member of the Eastern Benevolent Society.
