The Basketball Tournament will kic Nike Phoenix Suns #15 Cameron Payne Men 2022-23 City Edition NBA Jersey - Cherry Blossom White Menk off their sixth season this month with 64 teams competing for the $2 million grand prize. Many of the teams consist of players who have played in the NBA, G League, and overseas. There are many collegiate alumni teams competing in the event.
The Westchester Knicks season finished a couple months ago and the next season won’t start until the fall, but there are several former Knick players that will be in action this summer in TBT.
Kohl Blooded (Wisconsin Alumni): Nigel Hayes
In the Columbus region, the No. 2 seed is a squad that consists of Wisconsin alumni, Kohl Blooded. Nigel Hayes, who spent four years at Wisconsin, will be competing with several of his former teammates. He spent one season in Westchester where he showed his ability to drain perimeter shots— shot 45.4 percent from three— and was a versatile player. Hayes earned three NBA call-ups in his rookie season.
Florida TNT: Kevin Capers
Kevin Capers developed his game during his two seasons with the Knicks. While he didn’t see much action in his first season, he had a great opportunity to showcase his skills in an increased role in his second season. Capers has TBT experience, as he previously competed with Pedro’s Posse. Florida TNT is the No 5 seed in the Greensboro Region and will take on No. 4 Primetime Players.
Tampa 20/20: Devon Baulkman
There is another Knick alumni in the Greensboro Region. Devon Baulkman was a high energy player who took great pride with his defensive play. He added depth to Westchester and played a role in making the Knicks one of the top defensive teams in the G League. Tampa 20/20, the No. 7 seed, will take on No. 2 seed Team CP3 in the first round.
Team Everyday: Devondrick Walker and Keith Wright
The Memphis region features two players who are very familiar with each other. Devondrick Walker and Keith Wright first played together with the Austin Spurs devin booker throwback jerseythen were reunited in Westchester. Wright previously played with Talladega Knights and converted the game-winning basket in the Elam Ending. No. 7 Team Everyday will face No. 2 seed Bluff City (Memphis alumni) in the opening round.
AfterShocks (Wichita State Alumni)
The Wichita Regional features three Westchester Knicks alumni. The first one is a part of a Wichita State alumni team. Cleanthony Early accomplished a lot in his time with the Shockers. He made an immediate impact in his junior season. Early averaged 13.9 points and 5.4 rebounds per game, as Wichita State reached the Final Four. No. 2 seed AfterShocks will look to have success in this year’s TBT, as the team takes on No. 7 seed Team Everyday in the first round.
Self Made (Kansas alumni): Darnell Jackson & Sideline Cancer Kevin Olekaibe
The next two Westchester alumni will face off in the first round. Darnell Jackson is competing on a Kansas alumni team that consists of players with NBA, G League and overseas experience. No. 3 Self Made (Kansas alumni) will take on Kevin Olekaibe, along with No. 6 Sideline Cancer.
Armored Athlete: Xavier Rathan-Mayes
There are two Westcheter alumni in the Syracuse Region. The first one is Xavier Rathan-Mayes who is on No. 2 seed Armored Athlete. In his one season in Westcheter, Rathan-Mayes showed to be a solid guard who could finish at the rim and could get his teammates involved. He earned an NBA call-up during his rookie season. Armored Athlete will face No. 7 seed Team Draddy (Manhattan alumni) in the first round.
Playing For Jimmy V (V Foundation): Quincy Douby
An NBA veteran and former Westchester Knick guard will compete with Playing For Jimmy V. Quincy Douby is a part of a talented squad that is looking to make suns paul jersey noise in a tough region. No. 6 Jimmy V is set to take on No. 3 Brotherly Love in the opening round.
Team Challenge ALS: Sean MarshalNBA Bobbleheadsl GM/Small Forward
The Salt Lake Region features two superb teams that both made the Quarterfinals last year. The first one is Team Challenge ALS. The team has had success in the previous two years, as they were the runner-ups in 2017 and made the Quarterfinals in 2018.
Team Challenge ALS is primed to make a run at the TBT Championship in 2019. No. 2 Team Challenge ALS will take on No. 7 seed Utah Stallions in the first round.
Team Fredette: Jordon Crawford and Ra’NBA SweatpantsShad James

While the squad suffered a tough loss in the Quarterfinals, Team Fredette is a team to follow in 2019. The team features two former Westchester Knicks, Jordon Crawford and Ra’Shad James, along with many talented players. No. 3 seed Team Fredette will face off against No. 6 seed CitiTeam Blazers.
Team Utah: Nick Covington
Team Utah is another team that returns to TBT foNBA Accessoriesr another year with the hopes of securing the grand prize. The team fought hard in the Hoopfest West Regional Pod, but suffered a tough one point loss to Few Good Men (Gonzaga alumni). Nick Covington will compete with Team Utah.
