I remember back in the day a group of us camped on the beach for a few days a long August weekend. This one girl was in the water most of Friday afternoon and almost all day Saturday. By Sunday morning 1:30 AM she was vomiting and was in a lot of pain and you could see her skin looking creased like old people. We had to rush her hospital and we were told she had severe sun burn. I was a bit surprised It was the first time I saw a Caribbean Native having such a negative reaction to the sun.

Black or White we all need to protect our skin from the sun.. If you plan on being in it a very long period of time.
