BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, 8th December, 2010 With Christmas still more than two weeks away, the fabled Santa Claus has already showed up and made his delivery to seven of LIME’s customers. He has brought with him vouchers for gas, spa treatment and shopping spree as well as a Blackberry torch and an Ipad and an Ipod. These gifts represent a sample of the many weekly giveaways that LIME has remixed for Christmas and which customers will be anxiously anticipating as Santa makes his rounds.
Calling first on Leroy Carey, he was presented with a gas voucher valued at US$150 being one of four winners in the first weekly draw of the Christmas promotion. Cassandra David was also selected in the first round of winners and received a voucher for a Hair/Spa makeover just in time for Christmas. Santa may just have to send his helper to seek out the winners of the handset and the shopping spree to round out the list of the first week winners.
“There has been high anticipation of this promotion from day one when we held our in store launch,” said a high-spirited David Lake, General Manager of LIME, St. Kitts & Nevis. “And to think that we are still some weeks away from the really big one when we will declare to one of our many valued customers that he or she will live free for a year having no mortgage or rent expense, grocery bills or telecommunication bills. I am not sure how we are going to contain all of that excitement,” he added.
Three additional LIME customers received an early Christmas treat in the second round of gift giving. On the instructions of Santa, LIME’s Deanne Arthurton presented Ipads to Hewlette Ward and Kira Purcell, while Talbert Clarke became the newest owner of the Blackberry torch.
Four more weeks of gift giving are in store for customers who qualify by topping up twenty dollars, texting “merry” to 5463 or purchasing a specific handset from a LIME store. The grand prize called “Live Free for a Year” and the runner up prizes of a family vacation for 4 and an entertainment pack will be drawn on January 7th.
