Cable & Wireless Share offer closes in days; Offer now opened to locally incorporated companies and organisations
Potential investors wishing to purchase Cable & Wireless St. Kitts & Nevis shares have just a few more days to do so. The offer closes on Friday March 28th at 2:00pm.
Approximately 1.66 million shares were put on offer to the citizens and residents of St. Kitts & Nevis on February 12, following the official listing on the Eastern Caribbean Securities Exchange (ECSE) on Wednesday 30 January 2008.
At the public launch which took place at the Royal St. Kitts Marriott one month ago, interested persons were directed to either of the two local licensed brokers - The Bank of Nevis and the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank. Application forms were also made available from any of the Cable & Wireless stores in St. Kitts or Nevis or on the ECSE website: www.ecseonline.com.
With the final days to go before the offer closes, the Government of St Kitts-Nevis has agreed that the offer should be opened to corporate entities and organisations incorporated in the Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis and owned and controlled by citizens and/or residents of the Federation. The process of applying for shares by qualifying corporate entities and organisations remains the same, that is, via any of the two licensed brokers in the Federation, the Bank of Nevis and the St. Kitts-Nevis-Anguilla National Bank.
The announcement of the allocation of shares is to be made on April 14th, 2008.
