BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - HYDRU BLAZMENT, a local group that specialises in singing dancehall/reggae music, has recently released their tune ‘Dreaming’ on the local airwaves.

The song, which was released three weeks ago on Sugar City Rock, has been requested by many listeners who said it is currently rated as the best local song.

Hydru Blazment consists of three promising artistes in the likes of Tamesa ‘Mabblow’ Samuel and Jevon ‘Future’ Allen, both of whom are from the Verchilds Community, and Samuel ‘Dutty G’ Bradshaw of Camps Village.

The three young men have been producing positive conscious lyrics for just over two years.

Samuel said they each wrote their own verse in the song, but the concept of the song came from him, as he thought about the love he has for his girlfriend and the good times they spend together.

He said they also have hopes of shooting a music video for the song in the next two months while they plan to produce their first album later this year.

The trio said while their aim is to promote positive lyrics, they also try to satisfy listeners who yearn for various styles of music and songs.

They all shared the sentiment that music cannot influence anyone to do anything and that it all depends on the person’s mindset and the way they see things.

Their aim is to reach out as far as their music can take them, and with hard work and determination they believe they could make it in the industry.   The group has performed on a number of local shows and will be performing their single ‘Dreaming’ for the first time ever in Nevis on Saturday, July 5 at the Cultural Centre for the Third World Connection Home Grown Festival.
