BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - LOCAL artistes Collin ‘C-Money’ Wyatt and Clevorn ‘Kash Man’ Maynard have a wish for this summer and they are expressing it through their song entitled ‘My Wish’.

According to the duo, who both hail from Sandy Point, not only do they want this song to be a summer hit but also a message to the youths and all those involved in gang-related activities.

My wish was jointly written by the two artistes and produced on the Kitten Purr Riddim by Marquice ‘Mr. Quice’ Willett of Liquid Line Production.

The rising violence in the Federation forced the twosome to sit and think about what was happening in the country, and this situation inspired them to write the song.

The song was recently released on July 17 on radio and has also been getting a lot of airplay in England and New York.

Wyatt said many people have requested the song multiple times last weekend when it was released on Hot 97 in New York.

The two will be travelling to St. Eustatius tomorrow to perform their song for the first time on stage and will also appear on the Extasy Teen Bubble show this Friday night, July 25.

Additionally, the singers said they are appealing to everyone to stop the killing and hatred and unite.

“I hope that we can all stay positive and keep the faith because wishes do come true,” said Maynard.
