Security measures for Warner Park concert

Basseterre,St.Kitts- The Police wish to thank the general public for their good behavior and cooperation with the security forces during the recently concluded music festival at Warner Park Stadium.  The festival concluded without any incident that negatively impacted it.  We are therefore hereby seeking your continued cooperation at the upcoming concert at the Warner Park Stadium on Friday 3rd July.  

The following security measures will be implemented to ensure the safety of all attending.

i. Entrance to the stadium for patrons will be at the main gate on the western end of Losack Road.

ii. All persons entering the stadium will be subjected to a security screen.

iii. Patrons will only be permitted access to the western mound, the south stands and the grounds in front of the stage.  

Backstage and the artistes dressing rooms will be off limit to the public.  Only persons with special access passes will be permitted in these areas.

iv. No firearms, glass bottles, knives or any other weapon will be allowed on the premises.

v. No standing will be permitted in the stands.  Patrons are asked to keep the walkways in the stands free at all times.

vi. No smoking will be permitted in the stands

vii. Gates will be opened at 6:30 pm. 

viii. Police officers, Fire officers and private security personnel will be on duty at the stadium to enforce these restrictions.  The cooperation of the public is solicited.
