St. Kitts pottery, rum, hot sauce and other products on display at Expo Caguas 2009

    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, OCTOBER 8TH 2009 (CUOPM) – Products from St. Kitts were among several from the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) on display at the recent Expo Caguas 2009 in the Municipality of Caguas in Puerto Rico.
     
    The OECS booths dubbed “The Best of the OECS” Products and Services displayed products from Antigua, Dominica, Montserrat, St. Kitts, St. Lucia and St. Vincent.
     
    St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister and current Chairman of the OECS Authority, the Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas, was special guest at the Expo and visited each of the booths.
     
    The St. Kitts Tourism Authority booth, manned by Mr. Jason Amory, displayed products from Brinley Gold, as well as Belmont and CSR rums, Greaux's hot sauce, bottled water, aerated drinks and promotional material included brochures and videos from the Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park, Caribelle Batik, Royal St. Kitts Hotel, the St. Kitts Marriott and the Royal Beach Casino.
     
    Another St. Kitts booth, Dance Beat Records was manned by Mr. John Francis.
     
    Potters House, St. Kitts manned by Ms. Carla Astaphan displayed several pottery pieces.
     
    The Antigua booth displayed Susie’s Hot Sauce; the St. Lucia booth displayed products from Baron Foods Limited. The Vincentian booth displayed Erica’s Country Style products.
     
    Montserrat’s Living Letters Production Co. exhibited DVD documentaries moving onto the educational arena with “Montserrat’s Andesite Volcano” in 2001.
     
    St. Lucia’s lone exhibit was from Natmed Limited of the sun care line of natural skincare and personal care products.
     
    Dominica’s Seventh Silver Star Inc. (SSS Inc) which provides management services to local and regional artists and produce cultural goods and other services was exhibited at that island’s booth.
