BRADES, Montserrat (April 20, 2011) - The Office of the Deputy Governor has announced that Friday, April 29, 2011 has been declared a Public Holiday on Montserrat to share in the celebrations of the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

After eight years of dating, Prince William announced his engagement to Middleton last November. Britain and much of the world is eyeing the upcoming nuptials in much the same way that they did when William's mother Princess Diana married Prince Charles thirty years ago.

Chief Minister, the Hon. Reuben T. Meade and his wife, Rev. Joan Delsol Meade are to represent Montserrat at the wedding ceremony next week.
