Basseterre,St.Kitts (Monday 27th November 2006):-The people of St. Kitts & Nevis will awake tomorrow to the sounds of a new soca group that will be known as d'Vybz Band International. This is according to leaders of the new organization who have been working behind the scenes for the past four weeks.
The group is scheduled to have a grand Media Launch on Tuesday 28th November at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort, from 9:30am, at which time all members of the band, its management and other officials will be introduced to the public.
According to a senior official of d' Vybz band, the members are ready and poised to storm the local and overseas musical scenes, with a combination of music that will satisfy fans of all ages.
At Tuesday's Media Launch, the local press, carnival officials, government representatives and sponsors will be enlightened about the band's readiness for carnival 2006/07 and its program of activities for the festive season.
Though not much information about details is being released at this time, the band's management is promising a CD that will shock the whole Caribbean. At this media event, the public will learn about the strength and versatility of the band members and the quality of music that will be emanating from the carnival CD.
The media Launch is scheduled to be broadcast live on ZIZ radio from 9:30am.~~adz:Right~~
