Stiffer penalties for persons who show disrespect for cemeteries in St. Kitts and Nevis. The St. Kitts and Nevis National Assembly which meets on Thursday is being asked to approve a penalty of EC$1150 for unacceptable conduct in public cemeteries. The proposed amendment of Section 21 of the Act makes provisions to further protect and maintain the sanctity of the public cemeteries in St Kitts and Nevis. JADELL BROWNE of St. Peter's was formally charged with the murders of John Napier of Milliken Estate and Sylvester Harris of Upper Monkey Hill. The accused, who was previously misreported as Jervan Browne, was also slapped with a charge of wounding with intent for his attack on Wilfred Simmonds, also of Upper Monkey Hill. A member of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force was treated for minor injuries after being involved in a traffic accident that took place on the Island’s Main Road on Monday (Nov. 2). Head of the Traffic Department, Inspector Cromwell explained to SKNVibes that at about 9:00 a.m., a collision occurred between police motorcycle P800, which was ridden by Traffic Police Officer Clive Wilson, and motorcar PA4343 owned and driven by Dave Esdaille of Lime Kiln.
