Thursday March 23 is declared a National Day of Mourning and a half-day has also been pronounced. All flags on government buildings will be flown at half-staff.
2. Sir Probyn’s body will lie in state at Government House from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Thursday March 23. The public is invited to view his body during this time.
3. The Book of Condolences will be opened at Government Headquarters at 8:00 am on Wednesday March 22 and close on Thursday March 23 at 12:00 pm. The public is invited to share condolences.
4. Sir Probyn’s state funeral will commence at 2:30 pm on Thursday March 23 at the Wesley Methodist Church, Seaton Street, Basseterre.
