BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – CINDY ISAAC of Anguilla captured the 2009 Miss Venus Swimsuit Pageant held at the Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre in Anguilla on Saturday, June 13.

The First Runner-up position went to St. Maarten’s representative, whose name was given only as Carolyn, while another Anguillan took Second Runner-up spot.

Michellette Mills of Nevis was awarded the Third Runner-up position, while Tamika Taylor of St. Kitts was voted Miss Photogenic.

The competition was focused mainly on the Swimsuit segment in which the models were judged on their physique and fitness in three categories - Smile, Attitude and Sexy.

The contestants also had to perform a dance routine and they spoke about themselves and the island they represented in the Introductory Speech segment.

A tour and a bonfire were among the activities the contestants participated in while in Anguilla.

Cindy Isaac won a cash prize of US$10 000, among other gifts.
