“Coming of Age” launches on Monday

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, JUNE 18TH 2009 (CUOPM) – “Coming of Age” - a collection of speeches by St. Kitts and Nevis Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas will be officially launched on Monday 22nd June 2009.
The book contains a collection of speeches made during Dr. Douglas’ first two terms in office - 1995 to 2000 and 2000 to 2004.
Secretary General of the Guyana-based Caribbean Community (CARICOM), His Excellency Dr. Edwin Carrington will deliver opening remarks during the ceremony at the St. Kitts Marriott Resort.
“This collection of speeches by Prime Minister Douglas is compulsory reading for anyone who wishes to learn how a small country with a visionary leader can influence the entire region,” said Dr. Carrington in a comment on the inside cover.
Regional Political Scientist, Dr. Neville Duncan will present an overview of the book before remarks by Prime Minister Douglas.
