By: Cherisse M. Sutton-Jeffers, SKNVibes
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - PATRICK ‘Curly Lox’ and Paul ‘Tu-Lox’ Gaynor, popularly known as ‘Twins of the dancehall’, were yesterday (June 24) arrested for fraud.

According to Jahkno.com, the brothers are accused of taking $50 000 from an upcoming artiste under the guise that they were able to give him the opportunity to travel to the United States of America to perform.

The media house went on to say that it is alleged, however, that they failed to deliver on their promise and subsequently refused to return the complainant’s money. The act is alleged to have taken place earlier this year and was reported to the police in February.

They are currently in police custody awaiting an interview but have not yet been formerly charged.

The duo are known for stirring up controversy in the music industry and have gotten popular over the years by making witty comments and jokes about people in entertainment industry, such as Bounty Kiiller, Beenie Man and Michael Jackson, amongst others

They recently released ‘Stir it Up’ volume eight, which is being well-talked about and creating quite a buzz. It features the ongoing feud between dancehall artistes Vybz Kartel and Mavado, and is titled ‘Trial and Crosses’.
