PM Harris to deliver remarks to the nation in observance of World Aids Day 2017, Friday, December 1st

    In observance of World AIDS Day 2017, Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris, St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister, who is CARICOM’s Lead Head of Government for Human Resources, Health and HIV/AIDS, will deliver remarks to the Nation on Friday, December 1st.

    Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Timothy Harris and the 42nd President of the United States of America, Mr. Bill Clinton, met in July 2017 at the Clinton Global Foundation in New York, where they discussed the progress of the Caribbean region in eliminating the transmission of HIV from mother to child.
     
    On World AIDS Day 2017, St. Kitts and Nevis will receive an Elimination of Mother-to-Child Transmission (EMTCT) of HIV and Syphilis Validation Certificate. The Federation is among six islands in the Caribbean that will be acknowledged on Friday, December 1st, 2017 for attaining success on this front
