BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - THIS Friday (July 10) the place to be is definitely Michael’s Bar and Restaurant, formerly Oasis, where Vivid Designs (VD) will host its Fourth Anniversary Dance Party and Modelling Show.
According to the CEO of VD, Diego Spanner, “the event kicks off at 8:00 p.m. with the Modelling Show as 20 models would be strutting their stuff in clothing, swimwear and accessories from Reinkarnation, Riff Raff of Nevis, Brown Sugar, Cane Juice, SK Fashion Plus, Allysa's Boutique and Plush Accessories.
The Dance Party will immediately follow the Modelling Show and patrons will have the opportunity to party until 5:00 a.m. on the following day.
“I would just love for people to come out and enjoy the occasion, as it will be a mix for all type of people,” Spanner said.
In a previous article, SKNVibes informed readers that the Dance Party would be featuring Evolution Sound and the Nu Vybes Band International. However, according to Spanner, there has been a change due to circumstances beyond his control and the Kollision Band would rock band lovers outside the venue while Evolution Sound would get things ‘jiggy’ on the inside.
The event will serve as the official launch of something new VD has to offer - the VD Media + Promo House - which is already in operation but was not officially launched. VD, he said, would become a division of that enterprise offering services such as commercial photography, audio/video production, event planning and promotion and artiste/model management.
Spanner said he would also like to say special thanks to the sponsors SKNVibes, TDC and Kittitian Flava, and to all other participating sponsors.
Persons are also urged to look out for specials and give-aways leading up to Friday’s big event as VD extends thanks and appreciation for supporting it throughout its four-year existence.
