Roadtown, Tortola - His Excellency the Governor David Pearey has appointed Deputy Governor Mrs. V. Inez Archibald to be his Deputy during his absence from office as of July 12-19 and July 29-August 2 in accordance with section 39(1)(a) of the Virgin Islands Constitution Order 2007.  

From Monday, July 20 to Tuesday, July 28, Mrs. Archibald will act in the office of the Governor during Governor Pearey’s absence from the Territory. 

Mrs. Archibald’s appointment, as acting Governor, is pursuant to section 37(1)(a) of the Virgin Islands Constitution Order 2007.
