Kingston, Jamaica, April 30, 2018 -- Foska Oats continues to fuel the two-time champions, Jamaica Tallawahs this summer at the highly anticipated sixth season of the Hero Caribbean Premier League set to begin August 8, 2018 with the finals being played on September 16, 2018.

Kris Persaud, owner of Jamaica Tallawahs, is excited about the renewed partnership; “We’re happy to reignite the partnership between the Tallawahs and Foska Oats who are coming on as platinum sponsor this season. The gents love having Foska each morning and the brand has been with the franchise from the inception of CPL, so we’re indeed happy that they see it fit to continue their financial support.”

He adds that over the past six years the partnership with one of Jamaica’s most recognizable family brands has been mutually beneficial; “We believe that both brands are international brands and participation in this CPLT20 tournament will only serve as a platform for the continuity of both brands to grow.”

Meanwhile Advertising and Marketing Manager at Chas E. Ramson, manufacturers of Foska Oats, Kathryn Silvera says Foska Oats continues to be proud of the partnership with the Jamaica Tallawahs; “As founding sponsors of the Jamaica Tallawahs we’re so proud to be on board for the sixth straight year, this year as platinum sponsor. With all the nutrients and fiber that Foska has to offer, we assist in fuelling the team through all the high energy sixes and fours, and awesome fielding that have helped bring home the trophy twice.” She adds that Foska Oats will continue to contribute to the development of the game; “Foska is also committed to the development of sport, especially cricket as it gives the youth of Jamaica a better outlet to learn and develop not only their bodies but also their minds and helps guide them in the right direction”

Tallawahs’ COO, Jeff Miller, is also hopeful that other local companies will also support the team; “The Jamaica Tallawahs welcome other local entities in Jamaica to support the Jamaica Tallawahs as well as the development of cricket in its new and exciting format. With the quality of the team chosen for 2018 we’re looking forward to a positive tournament with our eyes firmly fixed on taking home the trophy for the third time.”
