    London, England (November 16, 2005): Minister of State for Tourism Hon. Richard Skerritt continued to meet with key developers on Tuesday, including New Found Group International Developers Brian Dobbin, Chief Executive Officer and William Thompson, Director of Development.

     

     

     

    The Newfound Group International Director of Development said his company is well underway with plans for a development project in Frigate Bay. The construction of a resort, that will be a spa-type facility, will cater to an upscale market.

     

     

     

    The CEO, Brian Dobbin stressed that he has been to many countries in the world, seeking out ideal spots for development and has found the St. Kitts Tourism Authority officials to be among the most cooperative. 

     

     

    The St. Kitts booth at the World Travel Market remains busy.

     

     

    He also applauded the Kittitians he has come across for being very friendly and suggested that they maintain this friendliness to keep tourism business alive.

     

     

     

    Minister Skerritt assured him that his staff would continue to work feverishly to accommodate developers in the tourism industry. The

    minister said that the progress of this specific development is well underway and he looks forward to other meetings throughout the event.  

     

     

     

    Also visiting the St. Kitts stand during the course of the day was the Federation's Deputy High Commission to London, Jacinth Henry Martin who met with representatives to deal with issues related to entry visas for prospective Soviet tourists.
