Premier to be keynote Speaker in Montreal

    Charlestown, Nevis-- The Premier of Nevis, the Hon. Joseph Parry will be a keynote speaker at the 2009 Independence Celebration in Montreal, Canada.

     

    The St. Kitts and Nevis Cultural Association of Montreal, President and Public Relations Officer, Mr. Constantine A Greenaway noted that this momentous occasion will be in celebration of 39 years since the organizations founding and 26 years of Independence for the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis.

     

    A dinner, show and dance will form part of the celebratory event, slated for Saturday, September 26,th 2009 at the Cote des Neiges Community Resource Center in Montreal at 6:30pm.

     

    The St. Kitts and Nevis Cultural Association of Montreal was founded in 1970 and continues to organize programs designed to bring together members of the St. Kitts and Nevis community of Montreal.

     

    Meanwhile, a recent undertaking of the association has been a student adoption program. The program provides financial support to underprivileged students in Nevis and St. Kitts from the primary school level through secondary school.
