Cruise lines are prompting destinations for traditional families who are turning to vacations during Christmas and New Year's week instead of the tired routine of the Holidays at home.
Examiner.com promotes Royal Caribbean’s Explorer of the Seas departure from Cape Liberty Cruise Port in New Jersey on December 20, 2009 and returns January 3, 2010 after a 14-night Caribbean cruise. Ports of call are San Juan, Puerto Rico; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; Bridgetown, Barbados; Roseau, Dominica; St. John's, Antigua; Philipsburg, St. Maarten and Basseterre, St. Kitts.
Cunard’s Queen Mary 2 departs Brooklyn, New York on December 19, 2009 on a 15-night Caribbean cruise with stops in Road Town, Tortola, BVI; Willemstad, Curacao; St. George’s, Grenada; Bridgetown, Barbados; Castries, St. Lucia; Roseau, Dominica, Basseterre, St. Kitts and Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas, USVI before returning to New York on December 26, 2010.
Windstar Cruises, which operates a three-ship fleet of luxury yachts that explore the hidden harbors and secluded coves of the world’s most treasured destinations, also has St. Kitts on its New Year’s cruises in the Caribbean.
Wind Spirit’s New Year’s sailing departs St. Barth’s on December 19th 2009 featuring a new St. Martin Itinerary which takes passengers on a 7-day Caribbean cruise with visits to St. Kitts, Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke returning to St. Barts on December 26, 2009.
