Basseterre, St. Kitts (November 30, 2005): Ms. Matilda Nibbs, Mother of Washington Archibald celebrated her 103rd birthday Celebration recently.
Supervisor of Social Development Ms. Anne Wigley had high praises for Ms. Nibbs who she said was still full of life.
Ms. Wigley congratulated the smiling senior citizen who was tickled by Ms. Wigley's comment that she was batting as good as or better than Brian Lara.
Ms. Wigley said it is always important to celebrate and honour elderly citizens who reach such a ripe old age. The supervisor commended Ms. Nibbs grand daughter for taking such good care of her.
Ms. Wigley made a presentation to Ms. Nibbs on behalf of the ministry and expressed her best wishes and continued health.
