Charlestown, Nevis – March 16, 2020: Blair Thompson cannot stop smiling. The 25-year-old Nevisian says he is feeling “lovely” after winning $10,000 on Caribbean Lottery’s Pick 4 game.

The hard-working bus driver and security officer said he bought his ticket at RSJ Enterprises in Charlestown. The location is convenient for him as it is on the main road, “and close to where I live.”

Mr. Thompson was still smiling when he admitted that he learned to play Caribbean Lottery games through his grandmother.

“She used to play all the time, and when she won, she always shared her winnings with me, so I started playing when I was 20 years old. My brother John plays as well and won with Pick 4 just last month!”

Sabina Harrinarain, Office Manager at The Caribbean Lottery in St. Kitts & Nevis, expressed her pleasure at Mr. Thompson’s win. “Pick 4 is a very popular game, and I am not surprised that it is our winner’s favourite,” she said. “I am delighted to hear that Mr. Thompson is a regular player, on a daily basis. We wish him the best of luck!”

Mr. Thompson said that his family’s telephone numbers make up his selections. He chooses his numbers manually, although the Quick Pick option is also available. This time, he checked online to see if he had won, and his mother worked out how much he could claim. “Once she said the amount, I couldn’t stop smiling!” he declared.

Mr. Thompson said he has encouraged his friends to play Caribbean Lottery games. “Hopefully, they will take me on,” he smiles. “I’ve told them about my winnings, and now they want to try their luck as well.”

The happy winner’s advice to other players is: “Just keep on playing. The luck will come someday!”
