PM, Ministers visit CFBC, High Schools

    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, SEPTEMBER 14TH 2009 (CUOPM) – One week after it accepted its first students, the Saddlers Secondary School will get a visit from the full cabinet of Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas today (Monday) as part of the 26th Anniversary of Independence.
     
    The visit will also be the second in one week for Prime Minister Douglas and his Deputy and Minister of Education, Hon. Sam Condor, who visited the school on its opening day last Monday.
     
    This morning, Prime Minister Douglas and his Cabinet will begin the annual pilgrimage to the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC) and high schools.
     
    The first stop is the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College at 9 ‘o’ clock followed by the Convent High School, the Basseterre High School, the Washington Archibald High School, the Cayon High School, the Saddlers Secondary School, Sandy Point High School and finally, the Verchild’s High School.
     
    Prime Minister Douglas and his Ministers will address the students on the theme of the 26th Anniversary of Independence: “Embracing Our Youth Today for a Brighter Tomorrow.”
