Press Release
Friday October 2 - Kingston Jamaica :- Finally the adrenaline filled, surprise packed game show hit Jamaica on Wednesday September 23 at 8PM on TVJ.

So you’ve been watching at home and think you can do better than the contestants you’ve seen so far.  Well can you?  Do you really know what it takes to walk away with a significant amount of cash?

For those who don’t know, Digicel Deal or No Deal gives a lucky player the chance of walking away with up to $1Million … but not without a few tricks and turns.  Host Simon Crosskill takes a contestant through a suspense filled journey where they must attempt to maneuver through 26 sealed cases with prize values ranging from $1 to the sought after $1Million prize. Without knowing the amount in each case, the contestant picks one – his/hers to keep.  The player must eliminate the remaining 25 cases to determine what is in his/her case.  However, there are a few temptations along the way which are introduced by the game’s illusive Banker who after each round tempts the contestant to sell their selected case at his price.

Throughout the game, contestants are guaranteed a greater Banker payoff once the more valuable cases are still in play after each round, but if they are unlucky and select one of the big prizes the tricky Banker will reduce his offer.  The trick to successfully maneuvering through the cases is… pure luck!

Whether a Player chooses to pick cases by odd numbers, even numbers or randomly, there is no way to know which cases contain which amount.  The true test of this game is to know when to stop.  As explained, the more high amounts on the board, the better The Banker’s offer.  So a player can feel more confident when he has more large amounts, however, once the high amounts start to disappear, the player has less to bargain with.

Digicel Deal or No Deal is about bargaining.  The Banker uses a formula to make his offer using the amounts on the board to determine the player’s chances of winning big, so the player too must use his/her own strategy to determine the risks of going forward and the chances of walking away with more than the offer on the table.

Remember, the only way to walk away with the top prize of $1Million is to have it in your case at the start and then have the guts to play till the end to prove it.

So do you still think you can play better than the contestants you’ve seen so far?  This fun filled game of suspense, chance and luck, is ready for you so what’s your choice: Deal or No Deal?
