TV & Rinch tells it straight up in ‘Just Your Luck’

Rajiv ’Dj Rinch’ Hamilton

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THERE is no beating around the bush, no reading between the lines; it is plain and simple, and the stone cold truth is as Best A Dem’s Lebron ‘T. Vicious’ Walters and Rajiv ‘DJ Rinch’ Hamilton put it, “I don’t love you”.

That is a line from the twosome’s first music video together for their song, ‘Just Your Luck’.

The hard hitting lyrics for the song were written by both singers, who are employed at SKNVibes. They declared that inspiration for the song came from real life situations.

According to Walters, there was a time when they heard about a situation and they thought it would make a good song.

“It’s like you have a girl who left you for another man and now the girl get bad treatment she wants to comeback. But we are saying we don’t want her back,” Walters said.

The group, Best A Dem, known for its creative songs and one of a kind music, consists of three members and was formed some 18 months ago.

Walters said the response from the general public has been good as the singers play the boyfriends to two local girls in the video.

The video was shot in their hometown, Cayon, and around St. Kitts and was done by Nigel Lewis of Tru Capo Productions.

The song is off the group’s Summer Breeze album that was produced by Yard Tune Productions and the ‘Just Your Luck’ beat was done by Cliff Richards, Chief Operations Officer of SKNVibes.

The group sees the importance of showcasing its songs through music video, as it will help promote their work. The members have also informed that they would try to release music videos as often as possible.

The group has also produced hits in the past, including ‘Gone Clear’, ‘Ghetto Love’ and ‘Hurt me and again’.
