BASETERRE, ST. KITTS - October 2, 2009: Winning has obviously become part of doing business at LIME, the Caribbean’s only full service telecomms provider. On a weekly basis, its customers are featured in the news smiling heartily with some prize or reward.
For participating in the Live Green and Win promotion, Ms Shanna Heyliger was last week presented with her prize of a Mountain Bike. A text-based promotion, customers were encouraged to participate in a competition that ran in the summer edition of LIME’s magazine.
But this was more than an opportunity to win a prize. LIME through this promotion wanted to create a sense of responsible awareness in its customers across the Caribbean by inviting them to text in their tips for “living green.” Lots of customers shared some fantastic green tips which we will share with the public in the next issue of our magazine. With the promotion ended, Ms Heyliger along with several Caribbean winners are now able to do even more for our planet by choosing to get on their bike rather than into their car.
Country Manager, David Lake said “LIME continues to work towards its commitment to becoming a greener company. We are poised to launch our simpler, green bill very shortly and we even have a phone on the market that is made completely from recycled material and is fully recyclable. Watch out for more of our green initiatives in the near future,” he hinted.
Meanwhile, a Newtown Ground customer, Mr. Glenville Maloney, was the proud winner of a Lenovo Notebook and Printer. He emerged winner from a random selection of new broadband customers who signed up for internet service during a three-month promotion which ended in mid September.
Presenting the winning customers with their respective prizes, Gail McAlmont, the new Marketing Manager at LIME, extended congratulations on behalf of the company.
