Road Town, Tortola, VI October 2009: Capital Productions has teamed up with the BVI Tourist Board to launch a 2010 calendar featuring the 2009 Miss Tuning, Martina Ivezaj. The 2009 Miss Tuning Beauty Queen was in the Virgin Islands this year for the emancipation celebrations, and was a highlight of that activity.
The calendar is a must have, as its pictures will capture the imagination. The calendar showcase many sites on Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke and Peter Island and local cars which have participated in the Capital Productions Official August Festival Car Show and Exhibition. The month of December 2010 in the calendar displays the popular pink and white H2 Hummer owned by Desmond Alphonso which won a number of times at the BVI car shows. Also featured are other popular cars such as Bryan Fonseca’s Superman Camaro and Dunkie’s King Tut Dune Buggy.
Chairman of Capital Productions, David A. Abednego, said that it was an honour for Capital Productions to team-up with the BVI Tourist Board and Miss Tuning, as this calendar is another way of promoting the BVI especially, since Miss Tuning represents the “biggest Car Show and Exhibition in Europe”.
The Chairman further stated that the calendar will be available in the Virgin Islands by the end of November as the public will be up-dated on locations from which to make purchases. The calendar will also be distributed all over Europe.
Capital Productions 2010 Car Show and Exhibition will be held on Saturday July 31, 2010 at the Long Bush Soft Ball Field in Road Town. The show has already been dubbed, ‘The King Of All Car Shows’. A big announcement is expected next month which will have the public excited and impressed for well over the next nine months.
