Caribbean Rum takes Centerstage at the 6th Annual Caribbean Rum & Food Festival in Boston!

    Boston, MA/September 15, 2023/CMM Inc. — The Caribbean comes alive in the New England area this weekend as the 6th Annual Caribbean Rum & Food Festival returns (tomorrow) Saturday, September 16, 2023, 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm, to the Roxbury Community College, (parking lot) 1234 Columbus Avenue, in Boston. Under the theme: The Art is in the Mix, the event promises to be a sensory delight, showcasing the rich and diverse culture of the Caribbean, all built around a rum extravaganza!
     
    Patrons can consider the Caribbean Rum & Food Festival their passport to a vibrant world of Caribbean flavors, featuring renowned rums, delectable Caribbean cocktails, Caribbean destinations, arts and crafts, live entertainment, and much more. They will be driven to savor every sip, especially the cocktails of the day; Planters Punch, Pain Killer and Barbados Surprise while soaking up the vibe of what should truly be a delightful, tropical day. The message to patrons 21 years and older is to have fun but to drink responsibly.
     
    Along with the food and craft vendors peddling their delectable treats and delightful wares, there will be an exciting entertainment package, featuring the sensational reggae songstress, Nadine Sutherland, Kashu and Sean Orlando. 
     
    Organized by the Authentic Caribbean Foundation, (ACF), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Boston, the Caribbean Rum & Food Festival goes beyond celebrating the Caribbean's cultural richness. It also serves as a platform for showcasing the growth and marketing of Caribbean products and services in the New England region and offers unique business-to-business (B2B) opportunities for exporters and tourism providers looking to connect with the Caribbean American and New England communities.
     
    "We are encouraging everyone to come out as this is a family event that will not only feature rum but foods and art and craft of the Caribbean," said Andrew Sharpe, CEO/Founder of ACF. "This event will pack a punch--a truly eclectic mix of Caribbean-ness!" 
     
    This is yet another fundraiser for the organization as they continue their activism and work to support the disabled community in the Diaspora and across the Caribbean. Tickets prices range from $25-$65 and may be procured on ticketing platform, Eventbrite or at the gate. 
     
    Sponsors are Tito Vodka and the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA).
     
    About The Authentic Caribbean Foundation (ACF) 
    The Authentic Caribbean Foundation is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization, based in Boston, and is geared towards transforming the lives of especially children impacted by disabilities and HIV/AIDS and assisting caregivers and institutions.
