Speaking to SKNVibes.com, Proprietor Maurice Widdowson said the new arrivals come at the “culmination of changing the way we do business”. He explained that the store used to provide a large quantity of the same product, which resulted in many of the customers wearing the same and similar apparel due to the small size of the market.
In the past 18 months, however, the company has revamped its entire approach to fashion sales and has, through what Widdowson calls “skilful manoeuvring”, been able to diversify the products offered.
“Our customers want a decent quality product that is of a very good price and of a style they won’t see repeated everywhere they go. Over the last 18 months, we have found sources to provide our customers with that, which was their greatest need,” he stated. “We’ve managed to get the right products at the right price in a large variety of options.”
Widdowson informed that new arrivals are continually coming to the store and will give customers endless choices to refit their wardrobes.
As the Christmas holidays quickly approach, Island Hopper has also been receiving loads of exotic wooden pieces, ceramic ornaments, island-inspired lighting fixtures, batik designs and hand-made cushions to complement holiday interior design or to be a gift filled with Christmas cheer. The crafts are unique products designed specifically for Island Hopper, which only makes your purchase more special.
According to Widdowson, Island Hopper has already been ringing in the Christmas spirit with this package: a wide variety, high quality products, reasonable prices, a comfortable environment and incomparable service standards that put the customers’ needs first.
