SARID DVN pleased with response to his album on digital platforms

By: Andre Huie, Press Release

January 29th, 2024 -- After the successful launch of his debut album late last year, SARID DVN is now enjoying immense success of the digital release of the album on Spotify and other music streaming platforms. The artist recently remarked at how encouraging the response has been so far to his album: Low City, The Place Where God Meets People on Spotify, after just mere weeks of its release. “I just want to use this opportunity to say thanks to God for his awesomeness, for his tremendous favor on this body of work ‘Low City: The Place Where God Meets People’,” Sarid said.

“Since the album has been released (digitally) December 31st, the feedback has been such an awe. Hallelujah! Most high God be praised. I just want everyone to know that I am so grateful and God’s richest blessing be upon you all for the support, for the love. Continue to stream, continue to download, continue save, continue to purchase the body of work. It’s on your favorite digital platform,” Sarid continued. In explaining the meaning behind the name of the album, Sarid noted that Low City is the place of humility and lowliness, where the soul is in a meek mood where God meets and ministers to people. “God is there to carry man into his kingdom and save his soul but first we must be humble and that is the focus of the album,” he explained.

The album has 15 tracks featuring collaborations with Jamaican Gospel rapper Bawnagen, Atlanta-based Rohan Clarke, St. Kitts and Nevis artist Josi, among others. Big tracks include hit single Island Praise, Oh G-O-D, Fear God and Tehilla Adir. The album is very diverse, featuring a wide variety of genres including soca, reggae, soul and worship. With the successful launch of his album, Sarid is gearing up to do a world tour across the region and wherever his music may take him.
